This is a further exploration of ring control from the Southpaw stance, following up on Episode 2. As a Southpaw Karuhat would like me to use the right side to hem, eventually directing my opponent to my left setting up for the power kick there. There are only 3 directions an opponent can ostensibly move, use them to put your opponent where you want them to be. The session ends with him focusing on his version of the Thai kick. Among other things, he uses a kind of chest rise which allows him to “telegraph” in a way that deceives the opponent. It makes the kick very difficult to read.
